Shortlisted in the 2019 CCVS photographic competition

We were very pleased that one of our photos from the 2019 Festival was shortlisted for the CCVS photographic competition.

Our submission for the CCVS photographic competition
The short list was:
  • What Age gap, Age UK taken by Beverley Young
  • Bee Good, Age UK taken by Stewart Goodacre
  • Celebrating green spaces, Cambridge C & I taken by Hillary Cox Conden
  • Bell ringing, Cherry Hinton Festival taken by Kate Jones
  • Being Brave, Eddies taken by Danielle Hovius
  • Making New Friends, Papworth Trust taken by Andrew Cooper
  • Contact the elderly – Christmas Cheer, Turtle Dove Cambridge taken by Jo Randall
There were two awards to be made. The judges choice was ‘Bee Good’ taken by Stewart Goodacre and the people’s choice (voted on at the Volunteer for Cambridge Conference) was ‘What Age Gap’ taken by Beverley Young.
The CCVS will arrange for the photos to be displayed at events over the next year to show the difference that voluntary not for profit organisations make in Cambridgeshire.
