• Athletics with Premier Sports
• Cricket with Cambs Cricket Ltd
• Short tennis with Park Tennis
• Multi-sports with the Cherry Hinton Village Leisure Centre.

Come and try something new or just enjoying playing in the park with friends and family.

Thanks to Engineering and Design Plastics (on Cherry Hinton High Street) who are supporting the Festival again this year. They are sponsoring the pedal-powered scalextric for the Children’s Marquee. It’s going to be fun!

We’ll soon be publishing the Festival Flyer with all the information you need to join in as many festival events as possible! We wouldn’t be able to do this without the support of Ten Hats who have generously sponsored the printing of our flyer.

1) Mythical Maze certificate and medal presentation ceremony, 10.30am at the Cherry Hinton Library. Free admission.
2) 52 Stories with award-winning children’s story teller Andy Hawkins, 12noon-12.45 at the Cherry Hinton Library. Free admission.
3) Children’s Produce Show and St Andrew’s table top sale, 1.30pm-4pm (prize-giving at 3.30pm) at St Andrew’s Church and Church Centre. Free admission.
Remember you can buy and decorate ducks at the Children’s Produce Show ready for the Duck Race tomorrow!

Village Produce Show

The Children’s produce show entry form can be downloaded here or pick up a copy from the Library. Don’t worry if you haven’t grown anything you can still enter for the best home-made scarecrow (bookcharacter), produce a garden on a plate (28cm max), arrange flowers in a jam jar or make an animal sculpture from fruit and vegetables. Entries (free) must be made by midnight on Wednesday 10th September.

Turbo Trust Duck Race

Buy your ducks at Cherry Hinton Library, Village Centre or come to the Village Produce Show on Saturday 13th to decorate a duck. Price:  £1.50 a duck or 4 for £5.

History talk, craft party, quiz night
