Even though it was the hottest September day since 1911, lots of people turned out to the Phoenix Tuesday Club at St Andrew’s Church Centre this afternoon to enjoy a hot cup of tea with friends old and new. The club members enjoyed a talk about Antarctica from Cherry Hinton local Rosie Feull, who has visited the continent.
Over the road at the Village Leisure Centre, the Friends with Disabilities meeting was in full swing, chaired by former Mayor Gerri Bird. If you’d like to find out more about Friends with Disabilities, they have taken a stall on Festival Day so come and say ‘hello’!
A lovely evening for pottering round the allotment!
