Past festivals

Cherry Hinton has a long history of festivals with reports of celebrations around the Mill End area dating back to the Middle Ages. The event was resurrected in 1985 and recent festivals have attracted over 4500 visitors.

2012 saw a change in the festival format with community events during the week. The 2013 programme included a Quiz night, Bat Walk, Craft Party, Church Service, Duck Race, Community Groups Fair, Local History Society talk,  events in the new Cherry Hinton Library Community Hub and a Family Fun Day.photo2photo5
